Dalia brings Bitwreck over 12 years of experience
managing all aspects
software
development projects, including seven years in the game industry. Prior
to
joining Bitwreck, Dalia was Director of Programming Operations at Sony
Online Entertainment. In that role, she was responsible for the
management and scheduling of SOE’s development initiatives (over 40
concurrent projects).
At Sony, Dalia helped improve SOE’s overall on-time
project delivery rate from 25% to 85% and during her tenure, Dalia
also oversaw the integration of 12 new titles and enhancements into
Sony’s
multiplayer online gaming delivery platform. She was responsible for
the integration of EverQuest and ten other SOE titles into the
multiplayer platform and served as technical project manager for games
such as Fantasy War (nominated the "Best Online Game of 1999" by
Computer Games Online), Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, and the Dating
Game.
Dalia was also the Vice President of Product Development
for
Unplugged Games, a
developer of wireless infrastructure and multiplayer games. While
there, she oversaw the daily operation, budgeting and strategic
direction of all production groups. These efforts included the
on-schedule design,
development and deployment of all of the company's wireless titles.
Dalia also developed and implemented repeatable project processes for
game design,
development and quality assurance.
Dalia received her education from Princeton University
where she graduated cum laude. She speaks Spanish, Italian and English.
